Induction of the National Apology into the ‘Sounds of Australia’ collection by the National Film and Sound Archive

The National Apology was simply one step in the long march towards national reconciliation.

This is a fight that Indigenous Australians have been fighting for hundreds of years.

I do see the Apology as simply one step along the road of what must now happen: the implementation of the Uluru Statement from the Heart and then the goal of a national treaty.
