(Un)avoidable Wars: Myth or Reality | Asia Society

PARIS, October 13, 2022 — Asia Society France officially opens its center with a global launch entitled Conversations France-Asie 2022 “To Act in Troubled Times: New Perspectives from France, Asia, Africa, and the World.” In the plenary and first session, an expert panel discusses the potential and inevitability of war, the U.S. and China’s trade partnership, zero-Covid policies, and what war looks like in a modern-day context. Speakers include Asia Society President and CEO Kevin Rudd; Dr. Mohit Anand, associate professor in International Business and Strategy at Emlyon business school; Philippe Le Corre, senior fellow at Harvard Kennedy School and visiting professor at ESSEC Business School; and Laurent Vigier, chairman of Five Capital Executive Committee and of Friends of the Global Fund Europe.
